Michael Johnson•Editor-in-Chief
What Mrs. Lee says about Michael:
It’s pretty amazing that Michael stepped in as editor-in-chief after one semester on staff and one semester in J-1. Because of Michael’s direction, The Chronicle now has a web presence, and that is truly the wave of the future.

I can’t wait to see what she does next.
Movie Quote:”I am big! It’s the pictures that got small.”
Future plans: Baylor, pre-med
Hannah Smith•News Editor
What Mrs. Lee says about Hannah:
Not only is Hannah an amazing dancer, she’s also a fabulous writer. Hannah listens to her sources and sees them as people, not just the means to a great story. She wrote a story this year about Hospice that touched their hearts, and they even sent a cake to the newsroom to say thank you.
Movie Quote: “All right, Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my close-up.”
Future plans: Acting, of course!
Andrew Adams•Feature Editor
What Mrs. Lee has to say about Andrew:
“Thanks Andrew for your dedication to staff. It’s amazing that we even have a paper this year with all the new people. Hard to believe you’re one of the old-timers with your one year of experience! Great job on the front page design. It got big kuddos at the TAJE conference. Keep writing those stories that impact the world!
Movie quote: “Round up the usual suspects.”
Future plans: Baylor or Columbia, pre-med
Terran Watson•Photo Editor
What Mrs. Lee has to say about Terran:
Oh, Terran, Terran, Terran. Where to start? Terran came to J-1 freshman with lots of angst of boy problems. Then she joined yearbook and nothing’s been the same since. Now she works on layouts for yearbook and newspaper, takes pictures for yearbook and newspaper and writes stories for both staffs, too. Thanks Terran!

Jordan Campagna•Online editor
What Mrs. Lee has to say about Jordan:
Once Jordan learned that we don’t have firing squads in newspaper, so she can take risks with her writing, she’s really started to shine. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
Movie Quote: “Oh, Jerry, don’t let’s ask for the moon. We have the stars.”
Clinton Hicks•Business Manager
What Mrs. Lee has to say about Clinton:
Clinton wouldn’t have been on staff this year if his friend Michael Johnson hadn’t convinced him he needed to be our business manager. THANK GOODNESS he found out about us and joined The Chronicle. Without ads, we don’t exist. This year, the ads are great. Thanks for teaching us about the grab tool!
TV Quote: “Okie Dokie!”
Dylan Hillard•Entertainment Editor
What Mrs. Lee has to say about Dylan:
“Ok, Dylan knows this, but when he earned the entertainment editor’s position, I seriously considered over-ruling the points system I’d set up to determine who made the cut. I seriously thought he’d spend all his time goofing off, but he doesn’t. He works hard, and writes great stories!
Movie Quote: Made it, Ma! Top of the world!
Logan Nevonen•Staff Reporter
What Was Mrs. Lee has to say about Logan:

Movie Quote: “There’s no place like home.”
Brittany Wood•Staff Reporter
What Mrs. Lee has to say about Brittany:
Another one I thought would get away without actually being on staff. Brittany did an awesome job in J-1 freshman year, so when she asked if she could join us this year, her senior year, I said absolutely. I’ll be honest, I thought she’d be a yearbook girl when she was a freshman, and I was worried about her trying newspaper, but she’s done an AMAZING job!
Movie Quote: Play it, Sam. Play As Time Goes By.”
Leslie Trejo•Staff Reporter
What Mrs. Lee says about Leslie:
How very cool is it that Leslie was able to join staff her senior year, FINALLY, after taking J-1 her freshman year. I wasn’t sure she’d fit it in her schedule with cosmetology. I’m so glad she was able to work it out1 Thanks Leslie!
Movie Quote: “Rosebud.”
Shelby Ross•Staff Reporter
What Mrs. Lee says about Shelby”
Usually when I get a call asking me to let a transfer student join staff, I do so reluctantly. Shelby has been invaluable on staff this year! Thank goodness she tranferred to Rider!
Movie Quote: “Nobody puts ‘Baby’ in a corner.”
Branden Robinson•Staff Reporter
What Mrs. Lee says about Branden:
It’s amazing to me that Branden had voice even when writing the canned Leaguetown stories. I hope he’ll develop that writer’s voice into something even better during his time on The Chronicle.
Movie Quote: “I’ll be back!”
Taylor Moehnke•staff reporter
What Mrs. Lee says about Taylor:
Taylor never planned on being part of The Chronicle staff, but the counselors messed up, and I convinced her to stay. Thanks Taylor!
Movie Quote:”Carpe Diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.
Nicole Mercadante•staff reporter

Movie Quote: “It’s alive! It’s alive!”
Shaylyn Lee•Staff Photographer
What Mrs. Lee says about Shaylyn:
Yet another transfer, Shaylyn moved to Rider from Mallett’s Mansfield program, so I knew she’d know what she was doing. The one bad thing was J-1 where with every lesson I presented, she told me “Hey, we did this Mr. Mallett’s class, and he said…” Since joining yearbook, Shaylyn has turned into a true photography super star. And now, she even works on The Chronicle staff, too. Thank goodness her family moved to Wichita Falls!
